We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA. The 3D viewer works with a keyboard, every animation respects reduced motion, and our concierge will help in any format you need.
Our commitment#
We want everyone to be able to explore our jewellery, ask a question and order a piece, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have done#
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text and buttons meet AA contrast against the background.
- Menus and panels trap focus while open, close with Escape, and return focus to where you were.
- Each 3D piece has a text description, and the facts you need (name, price, sizes, gold) are always in plain text.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the opening animation, scroll effects and automatic turning are switched off and every section is readable at rest.
The 3D viewer and the keyboard#
In a piece’s product view:
- Tab to the viewer and use the arrow keys to turn the piece; it pauses its gentle turning while you do.
- The Front, Profile, Top and Detail buttons move the view to set angles.
- Metal, karat, size and stone are ordinary buttons, and the price updates as text.
Known limitations#
- The 3D pieces on the home page are decorative and turn with a pointer or touch only. The same information is in text.
- The 3D viewer needs WebGL. If your browser has it turned off, you see a still image and a short note instead.
- WhatsApp, email and phone apps are run by other companies, and their accessibility is outside our control.
